Research interest statement

I have a background in environmental science and engineering, with a specific focus in geochemical techniques applied to water. I’m specifically interested in research around point of use water filters such as ceramic filters. Assessing the sustainability and effectiveness of these filters both in the laboratory and in the field, and understanding the mechanisms behind those changes is especially interesting to me. In general, I’m interested in working on sustainable water treatment at the intersection of practical engineering concerns and novel chemical removal techniques, with understanding of the social factors which influence the feasible techniques.

Current research projects

I'm working on a paper looking at the effectiveness of modelling water flow through ceramic water filters, and a literature review.
