Chris Swan
Associate Professor

Dr. Swan (ScD, MIT) is a member of the Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering research group of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE). He also holds an adjunct appointment in the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service and an affiliation appointment with the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach at Tufts University. He currently serves as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Curriculum Development. From 2002 to 2007 he served as chair of Tufts CEE department. In addition, he has been active in the American Society for Engineering Education since 2001, having served in numerous officer positions for the Environmental Engineering and the Community Engagement in Engineering Education divisions.
