Academics Graduate Program

Graduate education has three components: coursework, teaching, and research.

  • Course Program: Below is the coursework schedule for PhD and MS degrees in Chemical and Biological Engineering (presented as Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering tracks). Our Graduate Student Handbook contains further information on the course scheduling and other graduate policies.

At the Masters level, the Chemical and Biological Engineering department offers a new program track in Bioengineering: Cell and Bioprocess Engineering. This interdisciplinary program replaces the current Biotechnology Engineering program. An overview of the Masters in Bioengineering program can be found here.

For additional information about the Cell and Bioprocess Engineering track, please contact the program coordinator, Prof. Kyongbum Lee.
