Flytzani-Stephanopoulos, Horowitz, Yang, and Bengani Receive SOE 2015 Grad Awards

Haber Professor Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos received the School of Engineering's Faculty Teaching and Mentoring Award. This award recognizes faculty members who have demonstrated outstanding support of a graduate student (or graduate students) from course completion through research and post-degree placement. Her student, Ming Yang, received the school's Outstanding Academic Scholarship Award for distinguished research, especially in technical publication. Doctoral student Ariel Horowitz also received an award for Outstanding Academic Scholarship in her research with Assistant Professor Matt Panzer.

Prity Bengani won the Outstanding Graduate Student Contribution to Undergraduate Education award from the Graduate Student Council.

All four received the awards at the 17th annual Graduate Student Awards ceremony held April 24, 4-6 p.m. in Distler Performance Hall.
