The Discovery Museums
The Discovery Museums, located in Acton, Massachusetts, just west of Boston, are two separate but complementary museums filled with exciting, interactive exhibits for children of all ages using focused spaces and hands-on activities inviting exploration and discovery. At the Science Discovery Museum, exhibits begin outside with the large parabolic whisper dishes and a variety of sound and music exhibits. Inside are water and vapor whirling vortexes as well as rock and mineral explorations. The Museum is filled with innovative science theme spaces inviting exploration and experimentation.
