In the past three years, a total of nine museum exhibits were completed by Girls Get SET participants. Click on the project name below to read more about each team's design and building process.
Acton-Boxborough:
GGS 2002: The Wheel of Rhythm
An exhibit demonstrating how a music box works, while teaching children about making rhythm.
GGS 2001: A Light House of Lenses
This exhibit gives children hands-on experimentation with lights, lenses, and optical phenomena.
GGS 2000: The Marvelous Miracle Motion Machine
This interactive exhibit resembles a roller coaster, and demonstrates various principles of motion.
Cambridge:
GGS 2002: Light it Up
This exhibit gives children a chance to get a close look at different types of lightguides and fiber optics.
GGS 2001: Awesome Arch
Children can put together their own arch bridge in this interactive exhibit.
GGS 2000: Twirl a World
This exhibit, which resembles a spinning amusement park ride, demonstrates centripetal force.

GGS 2002: Density Diver
A big Cartesian Diver exhibit demonstrates the concept of density.
GGS 2001: Chiming Catapults
This exhibit lets children try different variations of catapults to see how the projectile is varied.
GGS 2000: To Move the World
This large see-saw exhibit demonstrates how a large weight can be lifted by understanding torque.
