The Engineering Design Process
The teams were introduced to the Engineering Design Process during a workshop at Tufts in April. The process outlines the steps of defining the problem, brainstorming for design solutions, and implemeting the solution for any engineering problem.
Workshops
These workshops and activities were a part of the girls' summer experience at Tufts. The activities were developed and facilitated by the Tufts University engineering students in order for the girls to build the skills that are necessary to successfully complete the museum exhibit during the summer.
