Research Interests
Thermal Analysis of Materials Processing, Nano and Microelectromechanical Systems, Comparative Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, and Advanced Energy Systems.

Background
Professor Wong is a Triple-Jumbo (three degrees from Tufts University whose mascot is Jumbo the elephant) and joined Tufts Mechanical Engineering Department as a research professor in 1995.  Dr. Wong has served as Director of Special Initiatives for the School of Engineering at Tufts from 1997 to 2003.  Since 2004, Dr. Wong works half-time at Tufts and half-time at the Museum of Science (Boston, MA) as Director of University Relations.
