¨ Complete an access request form, and gather the required signatures. 

 

¨ Complete online safety training, Chemical Hygiene, Hazardous Communication and Hazardous Waste, at  http://publicsafety.tufts.edu/ehs/training.html

 

¨ Read the TMNF user’s guide. 

 

¨ Arrange a laboratory training session and lab tour with Prof. White.  This will take approximately 2 hours.  Be prepared to describe briefly what type of work you plan to do in the lab.

 

¨ For all lab users, a user fee will be assessed per semester.  Check with your advisor and department/group administrator to make sure they are aware there is a user fee and that funds are available to pay your user fee.  Give contact information to Prof. White regarding who to contact to arrange fee payment.  Please contact Prof. White for the fee amount and what the fee will be used for.
