PhD student wins conference award
Electrical Engineering graduate student Margaret Stevens recognized for molecular beam epitaxy research.
Margaret Stevens, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering funded through the NASA NSTRF Fellowship program, won "Best Student Presentation" at the 33rd North American Molecular Beam Epitaxy (NAMBE) Conference for her presentation "Determining indium surface diffusion parameters on InGaAs/InP by employing droplet epitaxy."
The NAMBE Conference is an international forum for researchers to present work on technological and scientific developments in molecular beam epitaxy. The most recent meeting took place October 15-18, 2017 in Galveston, TX. The student awards are selected by a selection committee of NAMBE Program Committee members and Advisory Board members.
