Professor delivers invited lectures

Professor Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos spent a week at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as the Hougen Lecturer in the university's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.

Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos, Robert and Marcy Haber Endowed Professor in Energy Sustainability and Distinguished Professor in the Tufts Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, is the 2018 Hougen Lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

During the week of October 22, she delivered two lectures attended by students, faculty, alumni, and the public. The lecture series is named for the late Professor Olaf Hougen, who taught for many years at UW-Madison and is recognized as one of the founders of modern chemical engineering.
