Biography: 

Carla Brodley received a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from McGill University. She  is currently a Fellow of the ACM and has served on the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) Defense Science Study Group, the Computer Research Association Board of Directors, the board of the International Machine Learning Society and the AAAI Council.

Research Interests: 

Brodley's research focuses on remote sensing, neuroscience, digital libraries, astrophysics, content-based image retrieval of medical images, computational biology, chemistry, evidence-based medicine, and predictive medicine.
