Biography: 

Frank Apeseche brings to Tufts Gordon Institute more than three decades of experience creating, building, managing, and advising successful business enterprises. He is a professor of the practice, teaching courses on entrepreneurial finance, financial and managerial accounting, business strategy, and financial management of high technology firms. He teaches Finance for High-Tech Ventures in the M.S. in Innovation and Management program, and is a faculty advisor to master's candidates completing their capstone leadership projects.

Beyond Tufts, Apeseche is a partner and co-founder of J. Locke & Company, a merchant bank specializing in corporate growth and repositioning opportunities. He also serves as a director and audit committee chairman of Building Engines Inc., a national SaaS software company that provides advanced technology solutions to commercial clientele. In addition, Apeseche is an active member/investor of Launchpad Venture Group, where he advises and finances promising start-ups in the technology and business services market segments. Previously, he was chief executive officer of The Berkshire Group, where he led four companies to their initial public offering.
