Biography: 

Jean-michel Molenaar has been part of the international fab lab network since its early years, after earning an M.A. in Arts and Technology in the Netherlands. In addition to being a professor of the practice in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, he manages Fab Connections, a company which runs projects and services for a global network of digital fabrication spaces. He is also managing Bio Academy, a synthetic biology program.

Jean-michel Molenaar is working on the creation of a cutting edge (bio)fabrication lab, in conjunction with the Tufts Silk Lab, to advance research and facilitate experimentation on advanced materials and smart systems.
