About
Our original community included faculty, staff, and students from Northeastern University, Tufts University, Boston University, Worchester Polytechnic Institute, and Wellesley College; engineers from Raytheon, Intel, Verizon, and EMC; and teachers from Massachusetts schools from the following cities: Boston, Worcester, Malden, Brookline, and Cambridge.
There were four STEMteams, each associated with one university. The STEMteam members were mostly female faculty, engineers, college students, and teachers- providing a strong role-model for girls in middle schools. Assessment was done by staff from Wellesley Centers for Women.
