Gautham Sridharan is a chemical engineering research scientist with expertise in applying computational systems biology and machine learning approaches to solve challenging problems in translational medicine. Broadly, his research interests involve the application of high-dimensional multi-omics (RNA-seq, proteomics, metabolomics) data to support pre-clinical target discovery efforts as well as clinical biomarker discovery research programs. In addition, he applies quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) modeling to better inform clinical decisions centered around drug dosing. Aside from his primary role as a principal investigator in drug target discovery and validation at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, he also teaches multiple graduate level courses at Tufts University with a focus on biotechnology research topics.
