To all members of the Tufts CS community: you’re part of the vibrant and collaborative Tufts culture, enhancing the many facets of an experience that prepares our computer science students for success throughout their lives.

You have seen the mission of the Department of Computer Science in action – providing top-quality education experiences for a diverse body of students, engaging in cutting-edge research, and inspiring our community to solve important societal challenges.

Along with the School of Engineering, we have seen our giving participation rates increase over the past three years, and we want to help this trend continue.

As you may know, the percent of undergraduate alumni who make a gift to Tufts each year is calculated into our rankings and is also reviewed by corporations and foundations as they consider grant requests made by Tufts, since they want to see that alumni support their alma mater before they invest. And all gifts, regardless of the donor's affiliation with Tufts CS, make a big difference.

A gift of any size supports CS programs, events, and activities like:

  • The inaugural Tufts Student Symposium in Cybersecurity Policy
  • Tufts PolyHack and the Women In Tech Conference
  • Funding for students to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration (last year, more than 20 students were able to attend)
  • Student research projects such as designing advanced computer-brain interfaces and improving programming language optimizers

Please make your gift today to benefit current and future Tufts CS students. Thank you for your support!
