CANCELED: Grant Writing: Crafting Compelling Objectives and Executive Summaries

Capstone in a series on grantsmanship, with a focus on academic grants—requires advance signup. Delving into the critical first-page Overview or Executive Summary of any proposal, this session will be a peer review-style workshop on a grant students intend to submit. Led by experts with the Office of Research Development, the session focuses on how students can 'hook' their review readers from the first section reviewers will see and set their proposal up to be funded.

Workshop take-aways include: assessment of specific drafts students are working on, tips and overviews of effective strategies for engaging readers, feedback from the Office of Research Development staff on drafts in progress.

Students without a grant in mind but who want to participate are encouraged to contact ariana.hajmiragha@tufts.edu at least 2 weeks prior to this session.
