Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering
The goal of the Master of Science (M.S.) degree program is to provide students with an opportunity to strengthen their technical backgrounds for pursuing successful professional careers in engineering research, development and management. Applicants are admitted to this program on the basis of their educational qualifications.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers two options for M.S. students:
A key admission requirement is strong academic background in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline. The Department also requires all applicants to submit their recent General Record Examination (GRE) scores. More detailed descriptions of all application requirements are provided in the Graduate School Handbook.
