COVID-19 Response Protocols as of 6/1/22:
Masking is voluntary for everyone indoors; however, we strongly encourage
everyone to continue to wear masks, especially those who are immunocompromised,
have an accommodation and are not vaccinated against COVID-19, and those who
wish to protect themselves and others from COVID-19.
- Cloth masks have
been shown to be much less effective than 3-ply surgical masks, KN95, or N95.
Tufts strongly recommends that individuals who choose to mask for their own
protection wear a KN95 mask.
- Masks will not be
widely distributed on campus, but Tufts community members who need KN95 masks
may request up to five per week at 62R Talbot A
