Professor gives invited lecture at AIChE annual meeting

Professor Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos spoke at the twentieth anniversary gathering of the Women's Initiative Committee (WIC) at the annual chemical engineering conference.

Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos, Robert and Marcy Haber Endowed Professor in Energy Sustainability and Distinguished Professor in the Tufts Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, gave an invited lecture at the recent AIChE Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh. 

At a full-day symposium highlighting significant contributions of women to chemical engineering, Professor Flytzani-Stephanopoulos delivered a lecture on "Heterogeneous Catalyst Design at the Single Atom Limit for Efficient Chemicals Production." 

The Women's Initiative Committee (WIC) at AIChE celebrated twenty years as a committee in 2018.
