Derby receives lifetime achievement award

Professor of the Practice Jack Derby has been selected as the inaugural winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Corporate Growth, Boston. This award recognizes a long-time member and leader of the ACG Boston community who has made outstanding contributions to the growth and visibility of the chapter throughout their career.

ACG Boston is a New England member-based association dedicated to helping middle-market M&A professionals build and maintain trusted networks. The association offers opportunities for M&A professionals to network, attend speaker series, and stay current on developments within the industry.

Through a press release, President of ACG Boston David Clark states that the association has “been fortunate enough to establish relationships and partner with some of our areas most experienced and talented business professionals. The recipients of these prestigious awards, each of whom are highly respected in their respective industries, truly represent the spirit and passion that is the ACG Boston.”

Derby is a professor of the practice in entrepreneurial marketing and the president and founder of Derby Management, where he and his managers provide strategic planning, and sales and marketing optimization services to emerging and middle market companies. Prior to forming Derby Management, Jack served as CEO of Mayer Electronics Corporation, president of CB Sports, president of Litton Industries Medical Systems, CEO of Datamedix Corporation, and president of Becton Dickinson Medical Systems.
