Computer Science students receive awards

A number of Computer Science majors were recognized with Tufts Academic Awards, Senior Awards, and department awards.

The Department of Computer Science is proud to announce that Computer Science majors earned the following academic awards:

  • Lawrence T. Chan, A20, received a Class of 1911 Prize Scholarship and a Department of Computer Science Krumme Award.
  • Jorge Eguiguren, E20, received a Department of Computer Science Krumme Award.
  • Byuri “Barry” Eom, A20, received an Alumni Association Senior Award.
  • Prince Islam, A20, received an Alumni Association Senior Award.
  • Caroline Kaufman, A20, received a Department of Computer Science Schmolze Award.
  • Oliver G. Korten, E20, received a Class of 1942 Prize Scholarship.
  • Philip E. Miller, A20, received a Community Service Award.
  • Faizan Muhammad, E20, received a Lt. Commander R.J. Manning Memorial Prize.
  • Jonathan Rodriguez, A21, received an Audrey Butvay Gruss Science Award.
  • Samuel E. Shaw, E20, received a Class of 1947 Victor Prather Prize.
  • Joshua Tso, A20, received a Class of 1898 Prize and an Etta and Harry Winokur Award for Outstanding Achievement in Artistic or Scholarly Work. 
  • Michael L. Thramann, A20, received an Ellen C. Myers Award.
  • Joao Marcos Vensi Basso, A20, received a Benjamin G. Brown Scholarship and an Alumni Association Senior Award.
  • Lexi Walker, E20, received a Department of Computer Science Schmolze Award.
