There are several labs in Anderson Hall and Halligan Hall, described below.
Policies, Rules and Notices
- Please clean and neaten up after yourself! Cleaners and wipes are available on the shelves in the middle of the room.
- You may write on the WhiteBoard Wall with Dry Erase markers ONLY! These, along with wipes to clean up afterwards, can be found on the shelves. Please make sure to properly clean all surfaces when you are done.
- Printing is available through the Tufts University Medford Campus Pay for Print system. If it is not defaulted, select "Medford Public Printing" as your "Print To...". The printer can be found in the main computer lab space. You can add money to your ID or print card on the JumboCash station located in the hallway.
Those who are unable to follow these simple rules will lose access to the labs.

The CADLab is for the exclusive use of Civil and Environmental Engineering students. The exception to this is if you are taking a Civil Engineering taught class. Blake-Perlman Computational Studio

The Blake-Perlman Computational Studio is for the exclusive use of Mechanical Engineering students. The exception to this is if you are taking a Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Psychology taught class. If you believe you should have access to this lab and don't, please contact the Mechanical Engineering Office.

All machines have access to print on the Blake Lab Konica Minolta.

The School of Engineering has several multimedia classrooms. To reserve a room, use the Space and Resource Reservation System.

The lab is only available during scheduled classes and recitations, or if a faculty member or TA is present. Classes are scheduled using Tufts Space and Resource Reservation System.

The 318 Lab is a classroom setting with a suite of specialized software. Available software can be found on our Software page.

Students in the ECE or CS departments and students taking classes offered by these departments have access to these labs outside of scheduled lab times. If you require access to any of these labs, please contact the Computer Science department office.

*Halligan 122 is the only listed Halligan Hall facility with a scanner.
**Halligan 223 does not have access to a printer.
Engineering Lab VDI

All students, staff, and faculty in the School of Engineering can access the Engineering VDI from their computers or tablets with the VMWare Horizon desktop client. The Engineering VDI provides access to Engineering specific software such as Autodesk products, COMSOL, SOLIDWORKS, MATLAB etc.
Special instructions:
When using the Engineering Lab VDI, you should save your work frequently to your Tufts Box Account or to a shared folder you can set up following instructions for Windows and Mac.
