Certificate in Cybersecurity
The Certificate in Cybersecurity provides advanced training in the implementation and deployment of security technologies, enabling students and working professionals to deepen their skill set with cybersecurity and systems knowledge. In addition to technical expertise, certificate students contextualize their learning within the ethical and social environments that shape cybersecurity strategy. Graduates of the program are well prepared to continue into the M.S. in Cybersecurity or pursue new career opportunities in industry and government. Coursework is scheduled to accommodate the demanding schedules of working professionals and students.
The certificate may be completed on a full-time or part-time basis and requires 15 credits earned through at least five in-person courses. All courses must be 100-level or above and completed with a grade of B- or higher. Please note that courses cannot be counted towards both the Computer Science Certificate and the Cybersecurity Certificate.
