Dogar's research focuses on technologies for social impact, with current interests in generative AI applications and systems, cloud networking and systems, and technologies for developing regions. His work explores how computing systems can be designed to improve access, inclusion, and real-world impact. His research has appeared in leading venues including ACM SIGCOMM, ACM CHI, ACM ASSETS, USENIX NSDI, and ACM MobiCom.

Biography
Fahad Dogar is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University. His research spans technologies for social impact, generative AI applications and systems, cloud networking and systems, and technologies for developing regions.He received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and his B.Sc. from LUMS, Pakistan. Before joining Tufts, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK. His work has been recognized with awards including an ACM ASSETS Best Student Paper Award, the LUMS Vice Chancellor's Alumni Achievement Award, and a Gold Medal from the President of Pakistan.
