Biography
Josephine Wolff is the Alma G. and Merton B. Tarlow Professor in Technology and International Affairs and associate dean for research at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Her research interests include artificial intelligence policy and governance, liability for cybersecurity incidents, cyber-insurance, government responses to cyberattacks, and the economics of information security.
A trusted scholar on cybersecurity policy and AI risk management, Wolff frequently writes for major media outlets. She directs The Hitachi Center for Technology and International Affairs, a research institute that fosters the global exchange of ideas on the management of innovation and technological change. Prior to joining Fletcher, she was an assistant professor of public policy and computing security at the Rochester Institute of Technology and a fellow at the New America Cybersecurity Initiative and Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society.
