Biography
Lisa DiOrio was introduced to Computer Science at the tender age of 14 when she entered a computer lab and barely came up for air for 9 months. Although her interests and professional skills have broadened, she has never stopped honing her craft. She has worked in various disciplines including software, hardware and VLSI integrated circuit design; and held many roles including technical manager, sales & advertising, director of marketing and training manager. She founded and currently owns, operates, and is the lead developer at Fembot Creative, a fast paced, results oriented, digital marketing agency. DiOrio have also been teaching for 20+ years in both the corporate and academic space. She is currently a lecturer at Harvard Extension School teaching courses in computer science and web development.
