How to Apply
Students are eligible to apply if they:
- Have not earned credit for CS 15.
- Have not earned credit for CS 61.
- Have already declared or are preparing to declare CS (or Data Science) as their major, or as part of a combined degree.
- Have already taken CS 10 or tested out of the requirement by the start of the summer program.
- Are a current first-year student in CS or a current second-year needing credit in two of the three available courses.
Process and Timeline
- Info sessions will be held in both the Fall and Spring Semesters. Please follow Center for STEM Diversity Instagram for the announcement
- The Fall information session generally takes place during Advising Period.
- The Spring info sessions will take place late January/early February prior to application opening.
- Application open: Early February
- Application deadline: March 14, 2026
- Application notification: Between the end of March and the first week of April, prior to class registration
- Summer Housing & Course enrollment: Mid-April
- Meet ACE++ Alumni: Late April
- Program start: End of May, first day of Summer Session 1.
