Outcomes
Our ACE++ scholars represent a variety of experiences and career trajectories. With having just completed four summers, we are now proud to share that we have 56 students within the ACE++ community across four cohorts. We are excited to share some of their accomplishments here and how the ACE++ program impacted their journey.
Overview of Student Outcomes:
- 100% of 2022 cohort graduated, 75% of ACE++ students graduated with a Computer Science degree
- From cohorts 2022, 2023, and 2024 – 66% declared CS as their primary major
Undergraduate reflects on ACE++
Toki Zhumadil, E28, sought out the ACE++ program, resulting in a transformative summer and a renewed sense of commitment to data science.
"I doubt that I would have transformed into the assertive and confident student I am today, and I doubt that I would have remained a data science major without ACE++," said Zhumadil. "I am grateful that this program exists because it gave me so much more than just a second chance in a class."

- “In my pursuit of building a collaborative environment, I learned a lot, about others and myself, as the ACE++ program showed me how truly exciting academics can be when in a small group of talented and unique individuals. In the end, I’ve realized that my way of creating a collaborative and inclusive community is to show my true self and create an environment where everyone else can also be comfortable being themselves as well.”

Through the experiences provided to me by mentors through the ACE++ program, I have consolidated my interests in the field of data science, leaning towards machine learning.”
Internship Outcomes
The ACE++ program served as a launching pad for successful careers in computer science and related fields. Alumni have interned at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, Adobe, Snapchat Inc, Pioneering Medicines, E-Ink, and Biogen.
