Overview

2026 Program Dates: 5/19/2026 – 08/14/2026

Established in 2022 as a partnership between the Center for STEM Diversity and the Department of Computer Science, this 12-week summer residential experience is for current Tufts undergraduates interested in pursuing a major in Computer Science (CS). As a part of a cohort, students participate in weekly programs while taking two of three foundational courses – CS 61 and choose either CS 11 or CS 15 – in the Computer Science major.

This program is designed for students early in their CS journey to learn the structural knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the Computer Science major (Data Science included) in either the School of Engineering, or the School of Arts and Sciences.
