Minor in the Application of AI

The minor will be available beginning Fall 2026.

The Minor in the Application of AI is for students who want to understand how AI works and how to apply AI within a disciplinary context, but not necessarily how to build new core AI technologies. Students receiving this minor will complete lower-level courses in AI and upper-level, disciplinary-specific courses related to AI. The program is administered through the Department of Computer Science.

This minor is open to undergraduate students in Arts and Sciences and Engineering, except those pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering or a B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science in the School of Arts and Sciences.
