Assistant Teaching Professor
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) invites applications for a full-time teaching position as an Assistant Teaching Professor. The primary responsibility for the position is teaching and curriculum development for the department’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The position will begin in the Spring semester of 2026. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track position. The initial appointment term will be for two years with the possibility of renewal contingent on annual performance review results.
Robert Marcy Haber Endowed Professorship
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) invites applications for the Robert and Marcy Haber Endowed Professorship in Energy Sustainability faculty position. Applicants will be considered at the full Professor rank but exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor rank are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an impactful, highly visible research program and to demonstrate excellence in teaching, including core chemical engineering subjects, and in mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students.
Part-time Lecturer
The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) at Tufts University has an opening for a part-time lecturer position. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2025. The lecturer search is for a graduate course on Advanced Kinetics and Reactor Design. It is a core course in the Chemical Engineering MS and PhD programs, typically taken by each student in their first year.
