With summer internships in computer science gone due to COVID-19, the Tufts community stepped up and created a new way of learning skills—and helping others.

Computer science alum Sean Harrington, A14, managed the software team for the New England Patriots. Now he has a startup focused on nutrition for top athletes.

Tufts has been awarded an NSF grant to kickstart T-TRIPODS Institute, a university initiative focused on broadening data science methods and how they apply to diverse fields.

A joint offering by the School of Engineering and Fletcher, this new graduate program crosses the divide between technology and policy.

The program focuses on skills that help engineers make complicated systems like databases, networks, and operating systems work together.
