Order of the Engineer
Students gather each spring to join the Order of the Engineer – a national association of professionals dedicated to the ethical practice of engineering. Inductees pledge to uphold the highest standards of the engineering profession. Recite the Engineer's Obligation with your classmates and join a community dedicated to responsible engineering.
The Order of the Engineer eligibility criteria allow seniors in the following programs to join: BSBME, BSCHE, BSCE, BSEVE, BSEE, BSCPE, and BSME.
Graduate students in the following departments are eligible to join: BME, ChBE, CEE, ECE, and ME. Inductees receive an Order of the Engineer stainless steel ring and certificate. Contact ooe@tufts.edu if you have any questions.
