Order of the Engineer
Students gather each spring to join the Order of the Engineer – a national association of professionals dedicated to the ethical practice of engineering. Inductees pledge to uphold the highest standards of the engineering profession. Recite the Engineer's Obligation with your classmates and join a community dedicated to responsible engineering.
Graduating seniors, graduate students, and students who have completed an undergraduate degree in engineering are eligible to participate. Inductees receive an Order of the Engineer stainless steel ring and certificate.

Registration and ticket sales for the 2024 event have closed. The next Tufts Order of the Engineer Ceremony will take place in Spring 2025. Students may participate in ceremonies at other institutions in the meantime. View Order of the Engineer calendar.
