Biography
Golriz Kermani received her Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Temple University. Her thesis focused on the mechanical properties of aortic tissue. In her postdoctoral work at George Mason University, she focused on the mechanical response of lithium-ion batteries. Her research interests are material characterization, lithium-ion batteries, tissue biomechanics, and engineering education. She joined Tufts University as a part-time lecturer in Fall 2022.
