Biography
Hoda Koushyar received her Ph.D. in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech and her M.S. in mechanical engineering from Wichita State University. Her research interests are in biomechanics, applied mechanics, materials characterization, and engineering education. She has co-authored several articles published in the Journal of Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, the Journal of Composite Materials, and Journal of Applied Polymer Science, among others. Koushyar has been an instructor at Tufts since 2017 and has taught thermodynamics and biomechanics courses.
