Biography

Lee R. Minardi is Senior Lecturer Emeritus in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tufts University, which he joined in 1990. Prior to Tufts, he held product development and management positions in several CAD companies. He has been active for over 30 years in the industrial and academic use of Computer Aided Design technology. His research interests include geometric modeling of manufactured products and constructed systems, spatial visualization, the use of technology in teaching mechanics, computer-aided design, and the use of computer tools for engineering problem solving. In 2012, he received the inaugural Tufts University Teaching with Technology Award.
