Bell earns teaching award
Steven Bell has been recognized by Tufts Technology Services (TTS) for the effective and meaningful use of technology in his academic courses. He will receive the 2019 Tufts Teaching with Technology Award on May 22, 2019 at the Grafton campus.
Each year, Educational Technology Services in TTS surveys students from across the university to nominate course instructors whose use of technology has had a markedly positive impact on student learning and engagement. Bell was selected as one of five winners from a pool of over 100 student-nominated instructors.
Bell joined the School of Engineering as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2018. He teaches topics ranging from C programming to digital design to cameras and imaging systems. He is also interested in the transfer of engineering education research into the classroom at all levels.
Winners will be highlighted following the ceremony. For updates, please visit Teaching with Technology Awards.
