Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) is a national leader in supporting efforts to integrate engineering into K-12 education.
The CEEO has more than 20 years experience in improving engineering education in the classroom, from kindergarten to college. The engineering education research program is aimed at understanding how kids and adults learn engineering. This research then informs the CEEO’s development of various educational tools. It collaborates with a number of companies to bring these tools into the classroom, and then its outreach arm works with teachers around the world to further refine these tools and to support the teacher-user community. The center houses faculty, staff, and graduate students from engineering disciplines and the Department of Education.
