Hopwood elected to AVS Fellowship
Jeff Hopwood, a professor in electrical and computer engineering, has been elected as an AVS Fellow.
The American Vacuum Society (AVS) has elected Jeff Hopwood, a professor in electrical and computer engineering, as an AVS Fellow. Hopwood was honored for seminal contributions to the understanding, development and applications of microplasmas.
AVS (the American Vacuum Society) was founded in 1953 and has around 4,500 members worldwide today. The organization is an international community of scientists, engineers and instrument manufacturers, and aims to promote research and communicate knowledge in science, technology development, and commercialization of materials, interfaces, and processing.
