Alumnus named CEO of GZA

Patrick F. Sheehan, P.E., EG91, is the new Chief Executive Officer of multi-disciplinary management company GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA).

Patrick Sheehan, who received a master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tufts, was recently named CEO of GZA, a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services.

In a press release, Sheehan said: “I am truly honored to be chosen as GZA’s next CEO and look forward to working with John and the rest of our leadership to further grow and evolve GZA. GZA was founded in 1964 and is a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned firm providing Geotechnical, Environmental, Ecological, Water, and Construction Management services to variety of clients. The company employs over 700 professionals based in offices in New England, the Great Lakes, and the mid-Atlantic region.
