Dean's Grant

Engineering student organizations in need of additional funding for conferences, design competition, or community projects can apply for a Dean’s Grant.  Eligible organizations must be professionally-related engineering student groups with open membership to all interested students.

The Dean’s Grant process is administered by the Dean of Undergraduate Education in the School of Engineering.  Qualified groups may request up to $1,500 per academic year in support of specific activities.  Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and grants are made based on the availability of funds.  Please note that grants are only approved for future activities—there are no retroactive awards.

To apply, an officer of the engineering student organization should complete the Kuali form via the link below.  The applications will ask for details related to the engineering student organization, the academic year in which the group last received a Dean’s Grant, a budget for the proposed activity, and a justification for the application.
