Cybersecurity challenge
A team of students from the School of Engineering and the School of Arts and Sciences placed second at the inaugural Veracode Hacker Games. The two-week competition challenged students to solve tasks in Veracode Security Labs, a hands-on training platform that mirrors real-world examples of exploits they’ll face on the job.
Teams from the U.S. and U.K. received points for finding and fixing dangerous security flaws as quickly and efficiently as possible. By finishing second, the Tufts team secured a $5,000 prize and a trophy.
