Biography

Khaled ElMahgoub received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and electrical communications engineering from Cairo University, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Mississippi, USA, M.Sc. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, and MBA from Boston University. He is an assistant teaching professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Tufts University. Previously, ElMahgoub was a research affiliate with the Auto-ID Labs at MIT and senior Radar Verification and validation manager at Autoliv (Veoneer). He co-authored over 35 technical journals and conference papers throughout his academic years. He is a senior member of IEEE, member of ACES, and member of ACM. ElMahgoub is the recipient of the ACES Early Career Award. His research interests include Software Engineering, RFID systems, medical devices, sensors, channel coding, FDTD, antenna design, and numerical techniques.
