Minor in Computer Engineering

The minor program in computer engineering (CPE) provides students with foundational knowledge and practical skills in the domain – complementing the students' primary field of study and enhancing readiness for interdisciplinary engineering careers. The minor is available to all majors outside of BS in Computer Engineering and BS No Major, the later of which may not receive minors. The undergraduate minor in computer engineering consists of 6 courses.

Required courses are:

  • Introductory digital circuits courses: ES-4 and EE-14
  • Core courses: (Math-61 or Math-65) and EE-25
  • Two electives: EE-20, EE-26, EE-126, EE-128, EE-129, or CS-160
