Saturday, May 17 at 9:00AM - Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center

Baccalaureate Ceremony
Saturday, May 17 at 3:00PM - The Green

The Baccalaureate Ceremony for the senior class is a tradition that began in 1864. One senior is selected to give the Wendell Phillips Address, and the Tufts University President offers parting words to the class. The event is a multifaith and multicultural celebration honoring a diversity of spiritualities, philosophies, and cultures at Tufts in the form of music, readings, and blessings. All are welcome, and generally all members of the senior class and their families attend. Learn more about the Baccalaureate Ceremony.
 

All-University Commencement Ceremony (Phase I)
Sunday, May 18 at 9:00AM - The Green

School of Engineering Undergraduate Ceremony (Phase II)
Sunday, May 18 beginning at 11:30AM - The Green between Ballou and Bendetson Hall

Undergraduate School of Engineering students from the Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering were individually recognized during this ceremony. Commencement Speakers

Allison Perkel, E93, EG02, Head of Software, Mobile and Software Development at Blink, delivered the commencement address at the School of Engineering's Graduate Programs Ceremony on Saturday, May 17.

Freeman A. Hrabowski III, mathematician, education leader, and president emeritus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, provided the all-university commencement address on Sunday, May 18.

Ursula Burns, former CEO of Xerox and STEM advocacy leader, delivered the commencement address at the School of Engineering's Undergraduate Ceremony (Phase II) on Sunday, May 18.
