School of Engineering Graduate Programs Ceremony
Saturday, May 20 at 9:00AM - Gantcher Center

School of Engineering PhD students will be hooded by their thesis advisor and Master's students will be individually recognized. Family and friends are invited to attend this ceremony. Baccalaureate Ceremony
Saturday, May 20 at 3:00PM; Seniors should arrive by 2:30PM - Gantcher Center

The Baccalaureate Ceremony for the senior class is a tradition that began in 1864. One senior is selected to give the Wendell Phillips Address, and the Tufts University President offers parting words to the class. The event is a multifaith and multicultural celebration honoring a diversity of spiritualities, philosophies, and cultures at Tufts in the form of music, readings, and blessings. All-University Commencement Ceremony (Phase I)
Sunday, May 21 at 9:00AM - The Green

Undergraduate and graduate students from the Class of 2023 will be collectively honored during the All-University Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 9:00AM, followed by individual department ceremonies (Phase II) and Lunch on the Lawn, from 11:30AM to approximately 3:00PM. School of Engineering Undergraduate Ceremony (Phase II)
Sunday, May 21 at 11:30AM - The Green between Ballou and Bendetson halls

Undergraduate School of Engineering students from the Departments of Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering will be individually recognized during this ceremony. Commencement Speakers

Deborah Meshulam, E79, EG81, Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Scholar Rock will deliver the commencement address at the School of Engineering Graduate Programs Ceremony on Saturday, May 20.

Amina J. Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chair of the UN Sustainable Development Group, will deliver the commencement address to the Class of 2023 during the All-University Commencement Ceremony (Phase I) on Sunday, May 21.

Dr. Francesco Svelto, Rector of the University of Pavia in Italy, will deliever remarks at the School of Engineering Phase II Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 21.
