Research grant awarded
Farakh Zaman, Major, USAF and a third year PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering was awarded a $250K grant for his research from the Tufts Center for Applied Brain and Cognitive Sciences and the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center. Farakh is currently working with Professor of the Practice James Intriligator and Associate Professor Jason Rife. He is investigating human factors issues related to using augmented reality systems in subterranean spaces.
