Cyber challenge
A team of Tufts undergraduate and graduate students reached the semifinals of the Cyber 9/12 Competition in New York City this month, hosted by Columbia University and the Atlantic Council.
The team, c0ndo, was made up of computer science majors Gabby Roncone, A19, and Ben Janis, A19, biology major Joe Pajka, A19, and Gabby Raymond, A13, who is currently working towards a master's degree in computer science.
Cyber 9/12 is a unique competition designed to provide students across academic disciplines with a deeper understanding of the policy challenges associated with cyber crisis and conflict. Students interact with expert mentors and cyber security professionals while attempting to solve problems like assessing the impact of a major cyber attack, considering national responsibilities, and thinking through response options for the government and private sectors.
