The 2025 American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual Meeting is set to take place November 2–6 at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston. As one of the world’s premier gatherings for chemical and biological engineering academics, the meeting will bring together faculty, researchers, and thought leaders at all career stages to exchange ideas, share breakthroughs, and forge new collaborations.

Reflecting on the significance of Tufts’ role, Emmanuel (Manolis) Tzanakakis, Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, noted that "AIChE provides an important platform for showcasing innovative research and sparking collaboration. I’m proud that so many Tufts engineers will be presenting their work, from fundamental science to applied solutions that address some of society’s most pressing challenges."

Tufts students, faculty, and alumni will join this dynamic forum to contribute expertise in areas spanning sustainability, energy, artificial intelligence, materials, and beyond. Attendees will have opportunities to explore cross-disciplinary sessions, engage with peers who are shaping innovative programs and global partnerships, and stay informed about trends that are transforming both academia and industry. With its focus on reimagining how we teach and train the next generation of engineers, the 2025 AIChE Annual Meeting promises to inspire dialogue and drive progress in engineering education and research.
